Commissioners accept closeout documents, release retainage for law‑enforcement dispatch center

"They were showing that the grand total of the money that had been set aside to be used, if needed, that grand total was $5,223.06," the presiding officer said when reading the packet information. Staff explained pay application #7 effectively showed a $0 invoice after pulling $5,200 back into calculations and that pay application #8 would release retainage. Commissioners were told warranty protections remain in place if the retainage is released.
Commissioner Long moved to accept the closeout documents and release the retainage; Commissioner Wagner seconded. The court approved the motion without opposition.
