County Engineer Chad Davis presented several plat items and variance requests during the Jan. 12 meeting. The Worthy Edition final plat described a 17.87-acre tract split into two roughly 8-acre lots, with an existing home and water well on one lot and a shop and additional well on the other. Re-plat items (Grand Harbor and The Ranches at Rolling Hills) included requests for drainage-study variances and GAC waivers; staff advised that a licensed engineer’s drainage plan with five-foot contour intervals is required for Grand Harbor.
The Court approved final acceptance for Lucky Ridge at the intersection of Lucky Ridge Lane and CR 4698 in a motion made by Colby Shawn and seconded by Kevin Burns; Commissioner Danny Lambert abstained from that vote. The remaining subdivision plats and variance requests were approved (motion by Burns, seconded by Hayes) and adopted by the Court. Multiple items noted compliance or requests for drainage study variances or private access easement variances and included follow-up conditions when noted.
