The Board opened four bids at 10:00 a.m. for the Mehlow Ditch Drainage Improvement Project; county staff will review the submissions before recommending award. The announcement of the bid opening was made during the Jan. 13 meeting and bids were recorded as received for later review.
In the County Engineer’s monthly update (10:30 a.m.), staff said the planning study for the Plasterbed Road and Langram Road project is complete except for striping; upcoming projects and bridge consortium work were discussed; ditch projects and completion of the Rocky Ridge Road bridge were noted; the Engineer reported an increase in berming costs; and the county is reposting the Assistant Right of Way Coordinator position. These items were presented as operational updates rather than motions requiring immediate board action.
