Commission authorizes application for bridge replacement at west Montrose
The McCook County Commission approved a resolution to submit a Bridge Improvement Grant for structure 44-210-103 at Montrose’s west city limits, committing to a 20% local match and proposing replacement with three 12'x6' box culverts.

IMEG consultant Josh Prather presented a 2025 Bridge Improvement Grant application for structure number 44-210-103 at the west city limits of Montrose. The application proposes replacing the existing steel girder bridge with three 12-foot by 6-foot box culverts; the County certified the project is on its Five-Year Highway and Bridge Improvement Plan and agreed to pay the required 20% match and 100% of ineligible expenses.
