Chairman Mel Daniel announced earlier in the meeting that a cybersecurity grant and a budget amendment would be deferred until after an executive session on personnel. Following the executive session, Commissioner James Hitchcock Jr. moved to approve the cybersecurity grant and Commissioner Frank Simmons Jr. seconded; the board voted unanimously to approve. Commissioner Harlan Archer then moved to approve the budget amendment, seconded by Commissioner Simmons, and the motion passed unanimously.
