Steve Wall, Buffalo County emergency management coordinator, reported that details for the EMPG grant submittal remain pending and "it will be delayed," and he said the Town of Nelson submitted its WDF grant damage documentation and is waiting on state findings and approval.
Wall told the committee that about "$31,000 will be going back in the General Fund" and that the only unexpected expense anticipated next year is the software discussed at a prior meeting. Separately, Jail Administrator Emily Scholl reported the jail's recording program/software is failing and needs replacement; she told the committee she hopes the replacement work will be complete in May.
