Following a private closed session to discuss collective-bargaining strategy, the Monroe County Board of Commissioners returned to open session and voted to authorize its bargaining team to continue negotiations "pursuant to the parameters discussed in closed session." The motion was moved by a commissioner and seconded; roll-call records show Commissioner Moore voted No on the authorization while the motion otherwise carried.
