At its Sept. 18 meeting the Bennington County Regional Commission heard a presentation from Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation watershed planner Angie Allen introducing the Basin 1 Tactical Basin Plan update process for the Batten Kill, Hoosic and Walloomsac rivers. "This process happens every five years and the next plan is due in 2026," Allen said, describing an online story map that outlines steps for review and public input.
