The Whitley County Fiscal Court on June 17 unanimously approved the county’s 2025–2026 annual budget (Ordinance 2025‑03) on second reading and adopted an emergency amendment to the budget (Ordinance 2025‑04, Amendment #7). Magistrate Michael Jarboe moved to approve the second reading of Ordinance 2025‑03 and Magistrate Scotty Harrison moved to approve Ordinance 2025‑04; both motions passed with all members voting in favor.
