Dale Dice asked the court to quitclaim a 0.549-acre tract described as unused county road. Dice told the court he now owns the parcels on both sides of the former right of way and asked to place a gate. County staff and the county attorney said state law requires applicants to post notice of intent at the courthouse and two other nearby locations at least 20 days before the application date under Transportation Code §251.052.
