Page County adopts World Red Cross Day proclamation after chapter appeals for volunteers
Representatives of the Greater Shenandoah Valley American Red Cross briefed the board on local services and volunteer needs; the board adopted a proclamation designating World Red Cross Day and encouraged community volunteerism.

Josh Mongold, who identified himself as a volunteer board chair for the Greater Shenandoah Valley chapter of the American Red Cross, and Deborah Fleming, the chapter's executive director, described the chapter's footprint and services across 11 counties including Page County and asked for volunteer support. "My name is Josh Mongold. I serve as the board chair for the American Red Cross as a volunteer," Mongold said.
