Commissioners approve USDA application forms; resident pledges support letter

During the March 16 special session the board approved several formal motions necessary to begin the USDA application process. Commissioner Tom Ryan moved and Commissioner Paul Galovich seconded motions to sign the SF-424 Application for Federal Assistance, RD form 1942-54 Applicant’s Feasibility Report, and SF-424D Assurances for Construction Program; each motion "carried." Commissioner Ryan also moved to adjourn the session at 9:42 a.m.; Commissioner Galovich seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
A public commenter, Hot Springs County resident Tim Lippincott, spoke in support of the hangar and told the board he would write a letter of support when asked. The board recorded no dissenting votes in the meeting minutes for the motions presented.
