After an executive session Jan. 14, the council voted to withdraw from contract‑continuation litigation, to amend a RIDEM outdoor recreation grant match to 50%, and to authorize the town manager to enter a site‑assessment agreement with Peyre Corporation not to exceed $18,650, funded from the unreserved undesignated general‑fund balance.

The Burrillville Town Council entered executive session on Jan. 14 for collective bargaining, contract continuation litigation and several property and litigation matters. Returning to open session, the council voted to seal the executive‑session minutes and then to disclose several votes taken in executive session.
