Board approves multiple certified administrators; two votes include an abstention
The Okmulgee Board approved several certified administrator appointments for 2025–2026; two grouped votes passed with three Aye votes and one abstention from board member Vickie Jones.

The Okmulgee Board of Education voted on March 11, 2025 to approve lists of certified administrators for the 2025–2026 school year. In the first grouped vote the board approved the employment of Dawn Wallace, Amanda Thomas and Scott Bein; the motion passed with Aye votes from Leroy Parker, Mike James and Krystal Bohannon and an abstention from Vickie Jones. A second grouped vote approving Dianna Humphrey, David Dunlap and Steven Lobaugh recorded the same tally (three Ayes and one abstention).
