Selectboard approves routine licenses, appoints CUD representative and Planning Commission member
Summary
Londonderry’s Selectboard approved a liquor license for Turner Enterprises, appointed John Hankin as the town’s CUD representative, and, following an executive session, appointed Chad Stoddard to the Planning Commission for a term through April 1, 2027. The board also authorized increasing loan indebtedness related to wastewater funding and approved pay orders and minutes.
At the April 20 meeting the Selectboard handled several administrative matters: it approved pay orders and minutes for the April 6 meeting, unanimously approved a 1st and 3rd class liquor license and an outdoor consumption permit for Turner Enterprises LLC, and appointed John Hankin as Londonderry’s representative to both the Southern Vermont and DV Fiber Communications Union Districts for one year.
After entering executive session under 1 V.S.A. § 313(a)(3) to consider an appointment, the board appointed Chad Stoddard to the Planning Commission to fill a three‑year term ending April 1, 2027; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved resolutions to increase authorized indebtedness and to allow forgivable indebtedness related to the CWSRF loan amendment for the wastewater project. Each of these motions passed unanimously as recorded in the meeting minutes.
