Council approves unified wayfinding plan and design; implementation to be phased
Council unanimously approved a citywide wayfinding master plan developed with Destination by Design and Explore Sisters. The plan calls for gateway, vehicular, pedestrian and kiosk signs that use the Explore Sisters identity with City of Sisters elements; staff will return with phasing and budget options.

Designer Jonathan Scott, working with Explore Sisters and city staff, presented a wayfinding master plan that recommends a family of signs — gateway, vehicular directionals, pedestrian, park entries and kiosks — and a materials palette that references local masonry and wood finishes. "We developed a unified sign design under the Explorer Sisters brand identity as well as the City of Sisters seal," Jonathan Scott said, describing preliminary locations and modular panel designs intended to be flexible for fabrication and phasing.
