Chief Spence presented a budget amendment to recognize revenue and expenses tied to a Bureau of Justice Assistance grant that will support body-worn cameras and related cloud services for the sheriff’s office.
Spence said the amendment covers cloud services for 219 cameras and that the grant award spans three years with a 50/50 match. The committee called the roll and approved the amendment; procurement and match arrangements will follow county finance and procurement rules.
