Seneca council denies request to lower temporary contractor water rate
Tidewater Contracting asked to purchase construction water for a 17 Road project at a lower rate; City Manager Raamin Burrell relayed the request and council declined to reduce the rate, leaving the signed resolution rate in place.

City Manager and Recorder Raamin Burrell told the council a Tidewater Contracting representative had asked to buy water for the company's project on 17 Road at a reduced price. According to Burrell, the contractor "would rather pay $5.00 per gallon instead of the $10.00 per gallon as was set earlier in the year." Burrell provided the Tidewater representative with a copy of the signed resolution that establishes the current rate and asked them to review it.
