City staff announced the hire of planning assistant Anne Greendale, previewed a housing code audit to align local rules with state law, and said a joint city council–planning commission meeting on 'missing middle' housing is likely in mid-April.

Community development staff told the commission that the department has hired a new planning assistant, Anne Greendale, who will start full time next week and will assist with planning work previously handled by Shannon. "Her name is Anne Greendale...She comes with great recommendations," staff said.
