The board accepted multiple restricted gifts and grants on July 27 to support extracurricular teams and activities, including a $3,000 skills fund grant for FTC robotics, athletic equipment donations and team-camp support from booster organizations and local businesses.
Administration listed donors and amounts: a $3,000 skills fund grant (contact Sophie Grant Foresight) for FTC robotics; a $2,300 donation of football helmets from the Grafton Athletic Booster Club; a $3,000 donation toward girls basketball team camp; a $250 donation from Cedar Creek Motorsports for boys soccer; two $250 donations for soccer sponsorships; a $2,500 donation for golf and a $1,954.85 JV stipend donation; and a $3,500 donation for football game headsets from the Grafton Gridiron Club. The presenter noted the district would send letters of appreciation.
The board moved, seconded and approved the gift report by voice vote. Trustees thanked donors and agreed to send appreciation letters.
