The Jones County Commissioners Court voted July 13 to approve the purchase of a 2016 John Deere 672G motor grader for Precinct 1 at a price of $96,800. Commissioner Roy Spalding moved to approve the purchase from Purple Wave Auction; Commissioner Joel Spraberry seconded, and all commissioners voted aye.
