Leon County awards Firetron contract and selects HVAC/A/C vendors

Leon County Commissioners approved a contract with Firetron to provide services for the jail, Annex 2 and the historic courthouse; additional buildings may be added pending County Attorney Keith Cook's review and approval. Commissioner Kyle Workman moved the Firetron contract approval, with Commissioner T. J. Foley seconding; the court recorded the motion as carried.
Separately, the court selected Ezell under RFB 2026-359A for annual and preventive HVAC services and awarded two A/C units for the jail and Sheriff's Office to Archer Mechanical Service, LLC. The minutes record the vendor selections and state that further contract review will follow county procurement procedures.
