The Leon County Commissioners Court post-approved a screw worm disaster declaration that had been signed June 15, 2026 and then voted to extend the declaration for an additional 30 days. Commissioner T. J. Foley moved to post-approve the declaration, and later moved the extension; both motions were seconded by Commissioner Kyle Workman and recorded as carried.
