The Leon County Commissioners Court on June 22, 2026 approved routine claims across multiple county funds, accepted payroll for May 29 and June 12 and recorded multiple contract awards and selections. Commissioner Joey Sullivan (Pct. No. 1) moved to approve the claims and the motion was seconded by Commissioner T. J. Foley; the minutes state the motion carried.
The court also approved the canvass totals for the May 26, 2026 joint primary run-off election and ratified a letter supporting a grant for the railroad crossing in Buffalo (Hwy 79, CR 212 and CR 213). Several non-urgent items were tabled for later consideration, including proposed .gov domain migration and changes to the county volunteer agreement form.
