The Jones County Planning and Zoning Commission completed the following actions at its Dec. 9, 2025 meeting: approval of the meeting agenda (motion by Janine Sulzner, second by Kris Doll); approval of the Nov. 18, 2025 minutes with edits (motion by Sulzner, second by Doll); opening and closing of two public hearings; approval of the CW Barner Addition final plat with variances (motion by Sulzner, second by Tiedt; recorded vote: Sulzner—aye; Fay—aye; Tiedt—aye; Doll—aye); a unanimous recommendation to the Board of Supervisors on proposed zoning ordinance changes for non-conforming parcels (motion by Sulzner, second by Doll); and adjournment at 4:56 p.m. (motion by Tiedt, second by Doll).
