Labs, industry and startups cited as collaborators on Genesis projects

Ambassador Yamada pointed to concrete collaborations that illustrate how the Genesis partnership will function, citing joint work among national labs and Japanese research organizations and companies. “Argonne national laboratories with Japan's RIKEN, NVIDIA, and Fujitsu are working on AI and high performance computing,” he said, and mentioned Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s work with RIKEN on quantum computing and with Kyoto Fusioneering on fusion infrastructure.
