County staff, consultant continue work on Butler County comprehensive plan draft

Toby Stewart of Butler County Community Development and consultant Olsson, Inc. briefed the Board on a near-final draft of the Butler County Comprehensive Plan on March 31. The consultant reviewed outreach efforts including a series of public meetings, city and staff consultations, and an online survey; Olsson also provided economic and market analysis to inform the draft.
Stewart said the draft compiles findings from the outreach and analysis and is presented to the Board for continued discussion; no formal vote or action was taken. The work session will continue the staff and consultant review process and solicit additional Board input before a final draft is prepared.
