City will map missing sidewalks and bring connectivity plan to July meeting
Staff said the city's latest assessment will, for the first time, evaluate sidewalks and identify fully missing segments; the resulting connectivity plan and ADA transition plan are expected for the July meeting and will guide prioritization and funding requests.

City Engineer Mara Quad told the board the current automated assessment will include sidewalks for the first time and will record where sidewalk segments are entirely missing. "When we say missing sidewalk, it is that full segment," Quad said, explaining that the analysis flags a segment from point A to point B as missing and that the city already keeps a GIS layer showing which segments are absent.
