Kalkaska County commissioners opened multiple RFP responses for Central Dispatch (911) equipment, consoles, furniture and recording systems on Aug. 14, 2024 and set additional review meetings for Aug. 22, 26 and 28 to evaluate proposals.

Chair Kohn Fisher called the special meeting of the Kalkaska County Board of Commissioners to order at 4:02 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2024, and said the purpose was to open proposals submitted in response to the county's Central Dispatch (911) RFP. Present for the record were Commissioners Robert Baldwin, Scott Matley, Jeff Sieting and James Sweet, County Administrator David Schaeffer and Deputy County Clerk Alex McCaffrey.
