County accepts some road bids and rejects others in procurement decisions

Road Department Director Linda Pigue presented multiple procurement recommendations for the Road Department. The board accepted a bid from RMD Holdings for steel-beam guardrail and post, and accepted a bid from Vandervelde Sales & Service for plastic culverts; both acceptances were carried by voice vote. The board also voted to reject all bids for metal culverts, reject rotating carbide moldboard bit bids, and reject grader and snowplow blade bids as recommended by Pigue.
