Box Elder County RDA adopts tentative 2026 budget

The Box Elder County Redevelopment Agency on Nov. 19, 2025 tentatively adopted its 2026 budget when Member Tyler Vincent moved to approve RDA Resolution No. 25-01 and Chairman Boyd Bingham seconded; the motion carried on a roll-call vote with all three members voting yea.
Auditor Shirlene Larsen presented the proposed budget and described revenue and expense categories that underpin the tentative plan. Larsen told the board that "some RDA's have expired and I will look into the process of putting the excess into affordable housing," a step she said staff would investigate before final adoption. The resolution acknowledges receipt of the tentative budget and sets the public hearing steps required by Utah law.
