Multiple meetings in June show the Pontotoc County Board of Commissioners repeatedly considered but did not approve contracts to alter elevator phone services or adopt TK Elevator’s maintenance options.
The AT&T Business Voice proposal to transition courthouse and County Clerk elevator landlines to a specialty service was discussed at several meetings but recorded as "No action" when staff and the board indicated additional review was required. Assistant District Attorney Krystina Phillips told the board she would review the AT&T agreement and follow up. Commissioners likewise heard from county staff that TK Elevator had not contacted them regarding its Essential, Elevated, or Enhanced service options, and no motion was carried to commit to those agreements.
Minutes record the items as pending vendor responses; the BOCC directed staff to continue vendor outreach and to return contract language for legal review before placing the items on a future consent agenda.
