Xcel says Poncha 2802 feeder work will be summer priority; 2803 deferred to fall pending permits

"If I'm understanding correctly, that is the feeder that feeds the rest of the area for Poncha Springs, for Salida area," Ashley Valdez said, describing two main feeders and the focus on 2802. She added Xcel is still working with CDOT on required permits before executing some of the planned work.
County staff asked for a more precise timeline for the 155 remaining work items on 2802 and the 30 items on 2803; Xcel agreed to follow up with a more dialed-in schedule and to coordinate permitting with CDOT.
