The Teller County Board of Commissioners voted to adopt the 2025 Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP), an update to the county's 2011 document required by Senate Bill 142. The plan will guide countywide mitigation priorities and grant-seeking while directing local fire districts, municipalities and HOAs to drill down to neighborhood- or parcel-level actions.
