Library contract finalized; contractor targeting a mid-October start

Crystal Hyer (S7) reported the library's contract with Naylor Green is finalized and the company is scheduling work around other commitments. "They are saying probably a mid October start date right now," she said, adding that the contractor is closing out other contracts and working with underwriters on a line of credit at M&T.
Hyre (S7) and Chair (S2) said the town should expect contract papers at the next meeting as underwriting and paperwork are finalized. Hyer also noted a question from the builder about builders-risk insurance that the board's staff will follow up with the Vermont League insurance company to clarify whether the town must include that coverage or if the builder will provide it.
