The Clermont County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 5 adopted Resolution Number 010‑25 to establish a joint‑insurance program between the Board and the Adams‑Clermont Solid Waste District under Ohio Revised Code Section 9.833. The program will provide medical, vision, dental, life and disability coverage for employees of the solid waste district, and the Board authorized the President or a designee to execute necessary written agreements to implement the program.
Commissioner Bonnie J. Batchler moved the resolution, Commissioner Claire B. Corcoran seconded, and the measure was adopted by unanimous vote. The Board directed county staff to finalize written agreements and related administrative steps necessary to begin offering the agreed benefits.
