Board approves outside-counsel contract with Trucker Haas, adds termination clause
The FPDR board authorized a new outside general-counsel contract with Trucker Haas for services currently provided by Lauren, set a May 18, 2026–Jan. 21, 2030 term and a $150,000 not-to-exceed cap, and requested an explicit termination clause to cover future counsel moves.

The Fire & Police Disability & Retirement Board voted to adopt Resolution 566 to authorize a contract with Trucker Haas to provide outside general-counsel services previously supplied under an Ogletree Deacons agreement. Staff told trustees the proposed term is May 18, 2026, through Jan. 21, 2030, with a not-to-exceed amount of $150,000.
