Trustee asks selectboard to coordinate monument repairs with planned flagpole work

During public comment, a trustee of the Congregational Corporation told the selectboard she had researched old church records and found a 1903 committee resolution granting the town permission to occupy a plot for a soldier's monument while the Congregational Corporation retained ownership of the land. The trustee asked permission to investigate what work would be needed to reset the granite curb around the monument and to coordinate those repairs when the church's planned flagpole installation occurs.
