Court accepts lower Phelps Electric bid for jail generator
Caldwell County Fiscal Court unanimously approved accepting the lower bid from Phelps Electric to install a new generator for the county jail after Jailer Harper recommended the lower bid; the motion carried Oct. 29, 2024.

Judge-Executive William Dakota Young presided as the Caldwell County Fiscal Court on Oct. 29 accepted a lower bid from Phelps Electric to install a new generator at the county jail. Jailer Harper told the court they favored the lower bid; Magistrate Jeff Boone moved to accept that bid and Magistrate Brent Stallins seconded. The motion passed by a unanimous vote.
