Board approves Verizon antenna modification to improve local coverage
After a public hearing with no public opposition, the board approved Verizon’s request to raise rooftop antenna support by about two feet and replace cable equipment to address local service gaps; La Bella comments must be addressed.

Bell Atlantic (doing business as Verizon) sought approval to modify antenna and equipment on an existing rooftop wireless facility at Commerce Drive. Drew Curran described the work as a modest upgrade to address dropped calls and weak texting service in the area: "Essentially, what's being done is 2 feet is being added to the existing antenna, and we're replacing some cables," he said.
