The Blair City Council voted to adopt a resolution supporting the Safe Streets for All comprehensive safety action plan and established long-range goals to reduce serious injuries and fatalities on local roadways. Aaron Heaton, who presented the plan and timeline, said SEH will prepare the plan with public engagement and that the city has secured a $200,000 grant to prepare the document (roughly $160,000 grant-funded and $40,000 local match).
