The board reviewed a referral from the Town of Barrington proposing deletion of the "flag lot" definition from the town comprehensive plan. Paul Danielson said he contacted the Town Office about the amendment; Director of Planning Jeffrey Ayers observed that the change "appears intended to allow for additional land development within the Town."
Following discussion, the board moved that "under GML 239 the application as presented has no significant countywide impact." The motion was made by Steven Fulkerson, seconded by George Dowse, and approved. The GML 239 conclusion is advisory and does not itself change Barrington's local plan.
