Board to return disclosure forms missing required county agency information

During 'Any Other Business' at the Jan. 22 meeting, Ms. Melissa Bonacic raised recurring problems with filers not listing the County agency or department that holds a contract when completing the disclosure form. Board members discussed that many filers do not have that agency detail readily available but concluded it is the filer’s responsibility to provide accurate information.
The Board decided that forms missing the required agency/department details will be returned to filers for correction. That practice was recorded as the Board’s approach to ensuring completeness and accuracy of Annual Statement of Financial Disclosure filings going forward.
