The Lancaster County Board on March 11 approved two IT vendor renewals with CDWG. The first is a three‑year renewal for VMware Cloud Foundation licensing and support to manage the county’s virtual servers at a cost of $387,302.40 for March 20, 2026–March 19, 2029 (the minutes list an increase of $24,940.80). The second is renewal of licensing and maintenance for firewalls at the Government Center and the Courthouse for $131,546.00 for March 29, 2026–May 28, 2027 (recorded increase of $12,000, about 8%). Funding for both agreements is from the county IT budget and both use cooperative contracting arrangements.
