Kendall County Commissioners on March 24 approved $1,786,706.94 in vendor claims, voting 5–0 after the auditor and staff explained that several purchases were charged to emergency management but may belong in the county fire budget. "Today, claims are in the amount of $1,786,706.94," the county auditor reported during the meeting.
