Jerry Reynosa, president of Tri State, and Seth Skelton, the company's senior project manager, answered questions about subcontractors and schedule. "We feel like we're the best selection for this project," Reynosa said, adding the firm would address concerns raised about some subcontractors if awarded. Southwest General Contractors also presented and thanked the court for the opportunity.
Staff said negotiations will cover contractor substitutions, final pricing and scheduling; the court voted 5-0 to approve Tri State entering negotiations and agreed to hold a special called meeting after negotiations to finalize the award and execute contracts.
