Coosa County accepts LaBella proposal to update Solid Waste Management Plan
The Commission accepted LaBella Associates' proposal and authorized the county to proceed with drafting, public notice and ADEM submission of a new Solid Waste Management Plan, with a proposed fee of $25,000.

Coosa County Commissioners voted on Nov. 12 to accept LaBella Associates' proposal to develop a new Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) for the county. Commissioner John Forbus moved acceptance and Vice-Chair Brandon Davis seconded; the motion passed unanimously and authorized county staff to work with LaBella on drafting the plan and completing the required public-notice and ADEM submission steps.
