Vernon County commissioners raised urgent concerns about courthouse elevator service at their Dec. 11 meeting, saying judges were meeting on a first-floor room when clients could not climb stairs. Presiding Commissioner Joe Wilson reported contacting Peery Cash of Cash Electric and TK Elevator to expedite repairs and prioritized getting the system operational.
