The City of Sisters adopted Ordinance 548 on June 10 to correct clerical and outline errors in the Sisters Development Code. Associate Planner Sarah Vowell told the council that the package, TA 26‑01, was intended to "correct errors and provide clarification to the code" and emphasized that the changes are non‑substantive. She pointed to examples including a misspelling in an exhibit (the word "ampitheater") and outline numbering that needed conversion to Roman numerals.
Councilors discussed a small numbering correction in Exhibit C (a Roman numeral that should read 13 not 14), moved to approve TA 26‑01 with that amendment, then asked the city manager to read Ordinance 548 by title. The ordinance — described in the reading as "amending various chapters of the Sisters Development Code to correct errors and provide clarification" — was adopted by unanimous roll call. The adoption followed the planning commission's earlier unanimous recommendation and included the staff‑requested technical fixes.
