County planning staff highlight Beacon Bay Restore NY application and Route 90 DRI progress
Planning staff told the committee the Beacon Bay Marina Restore NY application (seeking $1 million) is pending and that the Route 90 Corridor Strategic Investment Plan was submitted to New York State at the end of 2024; award notifications for both are expected in mid-2025.

Kari Terwilliger, Director of Planning and Economic Development, reported that the county submitted the Route 90 Corridor Strategic Investment Plan to New York State at the end of 2024 and is awaiting which local projects, if any, will receive Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) funds.
